SLEA Launch 9 Grants: January - June 2025
SLEA3: Grant Artist: OnceAgain (Manoji Yachvili) Liaison: Dee
January - June 2025
The questions I have always asked myself are:"What is ART?"and"What will I leave behind when I go?"
Although I don't really consider myself an artist, even though others say I am, I like to create projects and immerse the works in landscapes that become a sort of installation.Sometimes in a space that might raise questions, without providing answers about ART.Sometimes questions arise about what ART means to me and what it means to others simply by looking at the works.
In SLEA3 you will find all the old works I have produced on Second Life plus some new ones, starting from SL projects through RL ones and a mix of the two.
On the ground floor you will find a winter-themed landscape because it is the season I love the most because the white snow covers everything hiding all the bad things, makes the world around us muffled and silent and it is also the season of my life because I am getting older. There are also several skyboxes where you can visit my projects, I recommend you use a shared environment and a high level and walk, or ride the horses that are around you, because in this way you will pass over a sort of "welcome mat" that will give you information about what you are looking at.
If you want you can leave your thoughts simply dropping a nc in the boxes you will find around, I will read them and the week before the SLEA Grant will end I will answer in a public meeting using the voice.
I will fill SLEA3 little by little, exactly as I'm used to doing in my gallery, so I recommend you visit it regularly, also after the opening party.
And if you are curious I have a large and good collection of artworks by other SL artists that I admire, some spread in venues here and other you can find them in my personal sim.
I wish you good visit and I hope you will enjoy the place ^^

My Mexican Museum
Like most of Humanity, México and its people are looking for a new path, proud to be a land of History, tradition, colors, tastes, and smiles. Mony Markova accompanies us to discover this magnificent Country, the wonders it offers and the challenges it faces.
In her Different Story about Mexico, Mony told: "It doesn’t matter what you say or think about this country; it will show you a different face. You may say something amazing, and it may show you darkness, but as soon as you think it’s night, its light will blind you with its kindness and beauty.
Like most of humanity, México and its people are looking for a new path, striving to be one of the nations that makes us proud to be alive. A land of history, tradition, colors, tastes, and smiles. The challenges of this nation confront it and force it to ask seven key questions that could make a different future. Could México answer them?
Will you come to visit? Will you challenge all you think you know of the land of a thousand flavors and the city of palaces? Come visit MY México and let me share how I live it and how I love it".

SLEA6: GRANT RESIDENCY Grant Artist: Chrix and Lallie Sorbet Liaison: Lexandra
January - June 2025
Murmuration – A Never-Ending Show
Murmuration—named after the mesmerizing patterns formed by flocks of birds and swarms of insects—is the latest creation by Lalie Sorbet and Chrix. Part of a special SLEA Grant Residency from the Second Life Endowment for the Arts (SLEA), this immersive and organic experience continually reinvents itself. Nothing is static: dancing particles, animated textures, and random animeshes emerge to form ever-changing compositions. Each glance is unique, and each visit reveals a new facet of this evolving display.
Two Ways to Explore Murmuration-Dive into the spectacle: Soar through the air and become part of this cosmic choreography. Let yourself be carried by the currents, floating in the dreamlike energy of this ever-shifting landscape.-Glide by water: Board a boat, drift peacefully, and admire the scene from a distance. Enjoy a serene moment where movement and light unfold before you in an unpredictable, dazzling dance.
Murmuration is a perpetually recomposing visual symphony, celebrating chance and fluidity. Every moment is a surprise, every appearance a fleeting poem. Let yourself be swept away… and become, for a breath, a particle in this infinite dance.
Additional Note: The Creation ProcessThe idea behind Murmuration was sparked both by the phenomenon of flocking birds and insect swarms as well as Lalie’s real-life photography. These inspirations drove the organic, fluid patterns you see in the sim. Working closely together, Chrix designed and coded a system that unlocks Lalie’s full creative potential—resulting in this ever-evolving, immersive environment where each visit offers a fresh perspective.

Created by: Lalie Sorbet & ChrixOpening Date: 22 February 2025 - 12PM SLT – Open 24/7Graphics Settings : none, Toaster level!______________ Murmuration – Un Spectacle en Perpétuel Mouvement
